- Additional Connections - Many users want to be able to connect SD cards, USB sticks, satellite feeds and other devices to their TV via the Android TV box. If you’re one of these folks make sure the Android TV box you have your eyes on has the requisite ports.
- For Full HD TVs, Media Play only supports USB Mass Storage Class (MSC) devices. MSC is a Mass Storage Class Bulk-Only Transport device. Examples of MSC are Thumb drives, Flash Card Readers (USB HUB are not supported). Devices should be connected directly to the TV’s USB port. When connecting an external hard drive, use the USB.
- What to love: Not only does this TV box have USB 3.0, it also offers Bluetooth 5.0, so however you transfer data, it happens quickly. The hard drive is big, plus it’s expandable. You can add up to a 2TB 2.5” notebook-sized SSD/HDD if you like, without worries about freezing or buffering.
